About Les Roches Desert Tours

Who we are. Les Roches Desert Tours is a Morocco-based tour operator organising Sahara desert tours and Morocco itineraries for travellers from all over the world. Our name — "the rocks" — comes from the black rocky hamada desert that surrounds the orange dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga: the landscape our guides grew up in.

What we do. We run private, small-group and shared Morocco desert tours departing from Marrakech, Fes, Casablanca, Tangier, Agadir and Errachidia. Our catalogue of 56 tours covers the classic 3-day Marrakech to Merzouga desert tour, one-way Marrakech to Fes and Fes to Marrakech desert tours, imperial cities journeys of 5 to 10 days, student tours, family tours, honeymoons, and off-road adventures in Merzouga — 4x4 piste tours, Enduro KTM and buggy trips. Tour prices range from €230 to €1499 per person depending on length and style.

How our tours work. You travel in a comfortable air-conditioned vehicle with an English-speaking local driver-guide. Desert tours include a sunset camel trek into the Erg Chebbi dunes and a night in a desert camp with dinner, breakfast and music around the fire. Hotels and camps are handpicked by our team, the price we quote is the price you pay, and our team answers on WhatsApp every day from 08:00 to 22:00 Morocco time.

Where we go. Merzouga and Erg Chebbi are our home ground. Beyond the desert we cover Marrakech, Fes, Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Chefchaouen, the Atlas Mountains, Ait Benhaddou, the Dades and Todra valleys, Essaouira and the Atlantic coast.
